Drift Terms of Use

These are the terms you agree to by using Drift. They are short on purpose. If something here is unclear, ask at drift.dev.travel.app@gmail.com .

Using Drift

Drift plans trips and suggests places to go. You need to be 13 or older to use it. You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app; you may not resell it, copy it, or take it apart to build a competing product.

Your account and your content

What you write stays yours. By posting to a shared circle you give Drift permission to show that post to the people you chose to show it to — nothing more. You are responsible for what you post, and posts that are illegal, abusive, or someone else's work passed off as your own can be removed and the account behind them closed.

Subscriptions

Drift is free to use, with an optional paid tier. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends, and are managed and cancelled in your iPhone's Settings, not in Drift. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy. Deleting your Drift account does not cancel a subscription.

What Drift does not promise

Suggestions are generated from place data that can be out of date. Opening hours change, places close, and routes that look walkable can turn out not to be. Check anything that matters — especially opening times, safety, and whether a route suits you — before relying on it. Drift is provided as it is, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted, accurate, or fit for a particular trip. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud; beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

You are responsible for your own safety while travelling. Drift is a planning tool, not a guide, a guarantee, or an emergency service.

Ending it

You can stop using Drift at any time and delete your account from You → Settings → Delete account. Accounts may be closed for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, and we will say why unless doing so is unlawful.

Changes

These terms can change. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date above will say which version is current. Continuing to use Drift after that means you accept the new terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep whatever rights your own local law gives you.
